Yes, we recommend keeping basic cleaning items at the property for guest use.
While Auntys bring their own equipment, guests sometimes need to clean up small spills or messes during their stay. This is especially useful for longer bookings or families.

Guests may not ask, but they’ll notice.
A mop or spray bottle can make a big difference when a spill happens at night.

🧹 What to provide

You don’t need to stock a full cleaning cupboard, but we suggest having:

  • A working vacuum and mop

  • Broom and dustpan

  • Spare bin liners

  • Dishwashing liquid and sponge

  • Cleaning cloth or paper towel

  • Basic spray cleaner (safe and multi-purpose)

Avoid leaving anything toxic, overly strong, or complicated to use. Keep it simple and accessible.

✅ Why it helps

  • Guests appreciate being able to clean up after themselves

  • Helps prevent small messes from turning into complaints

  • Reduces wear and tear between cleans

  • Ideal for families, long stays, or guests who cook
